I just completed a new paper quilt, and when you look at the colors, you can see that I am longing  for spring. The dimensions are 23.5″ (h) by 17.5″ (w).

Dreams are a door into a whole different world of sensory (and extrasensory) experience. It seems like pure nonsense if you apply the rules of the waking world. However, if you accept the freedom of the dreamworld, you may even be able to bring some of its magic back with you.

your picture won’t come up! =[

We had bluebirds at our little pond yesterday (and two days before that). I think that is more than I have seen bluebirds in the entire time I’ve lived in this house (15 years that would be).

So I’ll send you thoughts of bluebirds to warm you up and as harbingers of spring coming quickly now – my daffy’s are threatening to bloom!

oh! wait! there it is! I have a few beads that would match that green…love that green. Love that door image especially with the idea of “dream” – don’t you just love doors?!

Doors are an incredibly powerful symbol for me, and you, and many others! I was just trying to figure out WHY the image didn’t show up . . .thanks for the second post! And yes, the bluebirds are tweet-tweeting around my head right now.

  4. Wonderful piece Carol! You certainly are one busy artist! Donna

  5. I love this so much! A B C Dream is subtly charming. Your explanation of “accepting the freedom of the dreamworld” makes more sense than anything I’ve heard in a long time.
