Almost immediately upon returning home from my vacation in the Maritimes, I had a screw inserted into my jaw. Thanks to the anesthesia of modern dentistry, I felt no pain, and a dental implant now sits where an infected tooth had to be removed.
I did feel a lot of pressure as at least four screws penetrated my jaw.
I asked Dr. McIntosh for a copy of the xray afterward and received a printout (I would have preferred a jpg by email), so I had to scan it.
There were no worries about the right hair and makeup for this “portrait.”
The screw looks so symmetrical, not tilted and uneven like the real teeth. No wonder Hollywood prefers the dazzling perfection of “fixed” teeth.
