Carol Staub Plays Hard

I cannot tell you how I found this woman’s work, but she is prolific and her work really speaks to me.

Carol spent 26 years working for Delta Airlines, and then retired to “play.” Within 8 years, she won over 70 American and International awards and was frequently published.

I love stories like this, where talent seems to erupt out of nowhere. I am not sure if Carol had any art training, or even painted “on the side” while she worked for the airline. This much is clear: once she was self-employed, she took the painting world by storm.

About CarolWiebe

Art entices, inspires, and delights me. Art is a vehicle for laughter, tears, wonder, enlightenment--taking me on a constant path of discovery. You can't say that about housework (except, perhaps, for the crying part).

  1. Deb Sims says:

    Very intriguing work.

  2. Beautiful work. I find it wonderful that her website tells nothing about art training. It is a statement of what she does, rather than where she has been. A very “present” focus that I admire enormously. Thanks Carol!
